Most men train their bodies. Few train the whole man. The Forge is where endurance meets identity — where the weight you carry isn’t just iron. It’s everything you’ve been putting off becoming. May 9 is not a workout. It’s the beginning of a formation. Forge sessions run the 2nd Saturday of every month at 7:00 AM — $30 per session at SHED Fitness, Pickering.

Identity
Know who you are — your core, your calling, your capacity. The man who cannot name himself cannot lead anything else. Identity is the foundation every other pillar is built on.

Known and held. Iron sharpens iron — but only when there is real contact. The Forge structures that contact through Triads, accountability, and the discipline of being truly known.

Rest is not the absence of discipline — it is the exercise of it. A man who cannot stop cannot sustain. Sleep. Recover. Keep the Sabbath. This is the discipline of taking care of yourself.

What goes into the body determines what comes out of it. Whole foods. Daily hydration. Intentional timing. One question: does this fuel the mission — or slow it down?

Lead your body first. A man who leads his body can begin to lead everything else. Three workouts a week. 75 push-ups daily. Cold exposure. The standard is the floor — not the ceiling.

Prepare
Before You Enter- Sleep 7+ hours the night before
- Hydrate intentionally — 2 to 3 days out
- Eat a light, real-food meal 60–90 min before
- Arrive with an intention, not just a body
- Choose at least one goal before you walk through the door

Go Hard
Inside The Forge- Spot your brothers — a spotter is a formation act, not just a safety measure
- Ask for help — the man who asks is already ahead of the man who doesn’t
- Go hard without breaking — know the difference between pain that builds and pain that injures
- Name your set out loud — hold each other to it
- No silent suffering. Speak up. Stay in it together.
Grow
Between Sessions- Live the monthly standards — every day counts
- Check in with a Forge brother this week
- Track your progress, not just your reps
- One screen-free hour before bed, 3× a week
- Reflect: what did the session reveal about you?
- Show up to the next session better than you left this one

This is not optional. Once a week, reach out to a brother from The Forge — not about reps, about life. Check in. Ask how he’s holding. This is how iron sharpens iron between sessions.

Spot Each Other
No man lifts alone in The Forge. A spotter is a brother who believes in your next rep more than you do in that moment.
Ask For Help
Silence is not strength. The man who asks is already ahead. Vulnerability in The Forge is a sign of courage, not weakness.
Hold The Standard
Brothers don’t let brothers quit on themselves. Call it out. Encourage it forward. The standard belongs to all of us.
Check In Weekly
The Forge Standard requires one brotherhood check-in per week. Not about fitness — about life. That is the standard.
Don’t make him wait long. You don’t come to The Forge to be alone in a room full of men.
